Spider Table T90

This English spider table was handcrafted in mahogany as an exact copy of a customer's original to create a matching pair. Measuring 19 inches wide, 15 inches deep, and 31.75 inches high, the table features hand turned legs and a traditional stretcher base. The construction uses deep mortise and tenon joinery, and the drawer is built with hand cut dovetails and a cock beaded front. Fine stringing is inlaid into the top to match the period details of the original. To ensure a seamless match, the piece was physically distressed and the finish expertly aged with several coats of hand rubbed shellac.
