Philadelphia Chess Table with Two Drawers T151

This Philadelphia chess table was handcrafted from solid walnut to accommodate a customer supplied marble chess board. The table features hand carved cabriole legs with ball and claw feet, shaped from three inch thick solid stock. The table is built using deep mortise and tenon joinery with two hand cut dovetailed drawers providing dedicated storage for chess pieces. Several coats of hand-rubbed shellac finish the piece.
