Philadelphia Card Table T150

This Philadelphia Queen Anne Card Table is handcrafted from select solid walnut and walnut crotch using traditional deep mortise and tenon and hand cut dovetail joinery. Following the construction of 18th century originals, the white oak swing leg features a robust wood hinge to support the top. The graceful cabriole legs are shaped and hand carved from matching three inch thick stock, while the top and leaf consist of bookmatched walnut crotch boards. This table measures approximately 32”W x 28”H, with a 16” depth that expands to 32” when open. Authentic details include a drawer with hand cut dovetails and lost wax cast brass pulls, which are exact reproductions of period hardware. The finish is expertly aged to blend seamlessly with an antique furniture collection.

Tables can be built to client specifications in a range of sizes and wood species, including walnut, tiger maple, flame birch, cherry, and mahogany. Additional table designs may be viewed here.
