Pennsylvania Nightstand Size Chest ch204a

This bookmatched pair of Pennsylvania Chippendale chests is handcrafted in walnut and designed for use as nightstands or end tables. These chests feature bookmatched crotch walnut tops and drawer fronts, creating a true matched pair. Each chest measures 24 inches wide by 17 inches deep and stands 30 inches tall. Built with traditional joinery, the case features hand cut dovetails as do the drawers. The drawer blades are mortised and tenoned into the case sides. The crotch walnut drawer fronts are accented by cock beading. The pair sits on ogee bracket feet and is finished with several coats of hand rubbed shellac and authentic lost wax cast solid brass hardware.
