Pencil Post Bed B30

This pencil Post Bed is shown in tiger maple in a California King size. The headboard is made from two carefully matched boards and it features a four piece tester canopy. It is available to order in any mattress size, and other wood species such as walnut, flame birch, cherry, or mahogany are available. The posts are carefully shaped by hand from three-inch thick solid stock sourced from the same tree for consistent color and grain. Traditional mortise-and-tenon joinery, secured with heavy bed bolts, creates a strong, long-lasting structure, and thick solid rails add rigidity. Each bed is custom built to suit your mattress thickness and preferred bedding height. The slat system eliminates the need for a box spring, and the bed is finished with multiple coats of hand-rubbed shellac. Other bed designs can be viewed here.
