Contemporary Low Bed B29

This contemporary low bed is shown in tiger maple in a queen size. My customer needed an extra low bed with a headboard that would not interfere with existing artwork. It is available to order in any mattress size, and other wood species such as walnut, flame birch, cherry, or mahogany are available. The posts are created from three inch solid stock sourced from the same tree for consistent color and grain and the headboard is a single wide plank with great figure. Traditional mortise-and-tenon joinery, secured with heavy bed bolts, creates a strong, long-lasting structure, and thick solid rails add rigidity. Each bed is custom built to suit your mattress thickness and preferred bedding height. The slat system eliminates the need for a box spring, and the bed is finished with multiple coats of hand-rubbed shellac. Other bed designs can be viewed here.
