Built with traditional joinery, the posts are created from three inch solid stock sourced from a single tree to ensure complete color and grain continuity. The headboard consists of a single wide board plank displaying exceptional figure. The frame utilizes mortise and tenon joinery secured with heavy bed bolts to establish maximum structural integrity, while thick solid wood rails provide additional rigidity. Each bed frame is custom built to suit specific mattress thicknesses and preferred bedding heights. An integrated structural wood slat system eliminates the need for a traditional box spring.
