Tall Pencil Post Bed B30A

This pencil Post Bed is shown with a black lacquer finish in a California King size with heavier and taller posts than a standard pencil post. The headboard was shaped to match a customer provided photo and the bed features a six piece tester canopy. It is available to order in any mattress size, and other wood species such as tiger maple, walnut, flame birch, cherry, or mahogany are available. The posts are carefully shaped by hand from three-inch thick solid stock. Traditional mortise-and-tenon joinery, secured with heavy bed bolts, creates a strong, long-lasting structure, and thick solid rails add rigidity. Each bed is custom built to suit your mattress thickness and preferred bedding height. The slat system eliminates the need for a box spring, and the bed is finished with multiple coats of hand-rubbed shellac. Other bed designs can be viewed here.
