Pennsylvania Nightstand Size Chest ch204

This book matched pair of Pennsylvania Chippendale chests is handcrafted in walnut and designed for use as nightstands or end tables. These chests feature bookmatched crotch walnut tops and drawer fronts, creating a true matched pair. Each chest measures 24 inches wide by 17 inches deep and stands 32 inches tall. Built with traditional joinery, the case features hand cut dovetails as do the drawers. The drawer blades are mortised and tenoned into the case sides. Each chest includes a functional pull out writing surface and cock beaded drawer fronts. The pair sits on straight bracket feet and is finished with several coats of hand rubbed shellac and authentic lost wax cast solid brass hardware.

Chests can be built to client specifications in a range of sizes, styles and wood species, including walnut, tiger maple, flame birch, cherry, and mahogany.
