Nicholson Massachusetts Tea Table T152

This pair of Queen Anne Boston tea tables was built from mahogany with custom marble tops. Each table features candle slides, a cyma shaped apron, cabriole legs with carved C-scrolls and pad feet. The legs were hand shaped and carved from three inch thick mahogany stock and the aprons are joined to the legs using deep mortise and tenon joinery. These tables measure 26¾ inches high, 30 inches wide, and 18¾ inches deep. To match the character of period originals, we applied an aged shellac finish that brings out the natural depth of the mahogany.

Tables can be built to client specifications in a range of sizes and wood species, including walnut, tiger maple, flame birch, cherry, and mahogany. Additional table designs may be viewed here.
