Mid-Century Modern Danish End Table T70
This Severin Hansen style Danish nightstand/end table pair is handcrafted in the mid-century modern tradition. Measuring 18 inches wide, 20 inches deep, and 27 inches high, each table is built using mortise and tenon joinery and finished with shop-made curly walnut veneer. The veneers are meticulously placed so that every side is a perfect bookmatch of the corresponding side on the other table. Each piece includes a lower shelf for additional storage and a drawer constructed with hand cut dovetails. Several coats of hand rubbed shellac were applied to highlight the vibrant figure and depth of the curly walnut.
