Massachusetts Nightstand Size Chest ch204b

This Massachusetts style chest is handcrafted in tiger maple and sized for use as a nightstand or end table. The case measures 20 inches wide by 16 inches deep and stands 27 inches tall. The front corners are accented by fluted quarter columns, and the design features a hand carved fan drawer front, a classic hallmark of New England cabinetry. Built with traditional joinery, the case features hand cut dovetails as do the drawers. The face frame is constructed using mortise and tenon joinery for structural integrity. The chest sits on elegant ogee bracket feet and is finished with several coats of hand rubbed shellac to highlight the vibrant striping of the figured maple.
